Educational science studies at the University of Tartu gave me the recognition years ago that human development, its monitoring and support is a field that is close to my heart. Having previously worked as an HR manager and youth career information specialist and today at the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund as an employer consultant, supervisor and mentor, I consider my strength to be supporting people's career choices and growing into leaders/specialists in their field. I have completed the Fontes coaching mentorship program and hold an International European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) coach/mentor Practitioner certificate. I believe in lifelong learning and that all people have hidden potential that manifests itself under favorable conditions and provides an opportunity for a developmental leap or shows the direction for making new choices. I am grateful to my previous mentees who have also offered me self-analysis and learning opportunities, and I am happy if I can also support you in setting goals and on your development path.

My passion and goal is to help people achieve their dreams and support their development. My journey includes various studies at universities and different courses, as a result of which I have become a much more conscious communicator and guide, and as a bonus, this has brought along a strong network of friendships and collaboration. Currently, I share my life with a very exciting employer LHV as a HR manager. I believe that my long-term management experience in both private and public sectors helps me be an equal partner in the mentoring process. My approach to people is based on trust, active listening, inspiring questions and answering questions when needed, creating a safe environment for growth and increasing self-awareness. The international European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Practitioner accreditation and ICF accredited PCC coach provide me with a "toolkit" that I can use to more confidently fulfill my goal of supporting people in their development.

I help create collaborative cultures where people and results shine! I am a coach for leaders and teams (PCC, ICF), certified Gallup strengths coach, and co-author of the coaching leadership handbook "How to Be the Leader Your People Actually Need?" My work combines 20+ years of leadership experience, 8+ years as a coach and trainer, and a master's degree in organizational behavior. I have founded five companies, successfully selling one of them. My approach: I believe that great results are born where there are great relationships. In leadership and teamwork, tools or theory alone are not enough – you need to understand the interconnectedness of people, relationships, and situations. This is at the center of my work: * Systems perspective – I notice patterns and connections that affect collaboration and results, including those that are not immediately visible. * Building on strengths – I help people and teams operate in their natural zone of strengths, where work and energy flow more easily. When these two meet, an environment emerges where people feel valued, tensions decrease, and collaboration flows naturally. What do clients appreciate about me? * A safe, warm, and open space where every voice matters. * Directness and empathy, playfulness and depth. * Quick thinking and the ability to bring complex topics to light. * Balance between practical tools and inspiring discussions. My experience * 20+ years in leadership, including HR director and CEO roles. * Founded 5 companies and 1 successful exit. * 1200+ coaching hours and over 2000 training participants. * Extensive continuing education in systems coaching, team coaching, and leadership. Why do I do this? I have personally experienced how much changes when you let go of focusing on what doesn't work and turn your attention to strengths. A strengths-based and systemic approach has made me more confident, reduced overthinking, and helped me realize my potential. I know from my own experience and research that the same can happen with any leader and team. My work is to enable this change – so that people feel good and results speak for themselves. I have been involved in the field of education since 1993, when I started working as a school principal. This journey lasted 28 years, and since 2021 I have been applying my experience at the Ministry of Education and Research. I am a curious and learning practitioner who likes to experiment with new things and organize and create systems. It's a sin to pass by when you see that something can be done better. My diverse experiences as a school principal have allowed me to feel joy and also rack my brains in different fields. The best leadership advice I have ever received goes like this: life is like a zebra, sometimes there's a white stripe, then black, then white again and then black, etc. When sometimes it seems that the black stripe is too wide, it's good to know that someday the white stripe will come again. It simply has to come! This knowledge helps to survive difficult times. Faith in people and moderate curiosity are very progressive qualities. After completing the Fontes mentor program in 2017, I have had the fortune and joy of supporting several beginning school principals, with whom the school topics we've bounced around have warmed my heart, and I have also participated in several educational development projects.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to get to know me! My twenty years of experience as an education leader has given me an important insight - a person's life is a whole both at work and outside the work environment, so they need only one face, their authentic self, to be dedicated to work, productive and feel satisfied. Today's educational environment is becoming increasingly demanding and it's easy to become distanced from one's values, boundaries, needs, goals, and other personal life roles, which can lead to mental exhaustion and burnout. I help you (teacher/academic leader/education leader) achieve personally important goals, find confidence and well-being, and the best solutions to the greatest challenges so that you can be in harmony with yourself in your work role. I am your thinking partner because I have understanding, experience and knowledge. Over the past thirty years, I have created visions and brought them to life, founded and led kindergartens, developed early childhood education quality in Estonia, founded the Estonian Private Kindergartens Association, participated in legislation, studied educational innovation and school management, and coaching at an international college. As a partner of the University of Tartu, I support beginning teachers in a support program aimed at smoother integration into school life. I am an education coach and I TRULY HAVE TIME AND DESIRE TO BE THERE FOR YOU! Coaching creates an opportunity for you to be yourself, feel competent and be the glue of an active school community. In trustful cooperation with education professionals across Estonia, we have found solutions for dealing with mental fatigue and changes. We have created balance in life, found effective ways to deal with difficult students and parents, worked on developing more diverse learning methods and found opportunities to implement ideas and engage colleagues, discovered visions, found motivation, confidence and faith in ourselves, and created greater clarity and self-awareness. Additionally, the coaching experience gives you a growth mindset and tools for conducting coaching conversations with students and colleagues. A WHOLE LIFE IN EDUCATION! This is possible. I have the solution. Contact me and let's work together. COACHING IN EDUCATION IS AN INNOVATION THAT SUPPORTS PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, INCREASES SELF-AWARENESS, SUPPORTS GROWTH MINDSET AND CONTINUOUS LEARNING, ENHANCES COOPERATION AND IS A PREREQUISITE FOR GREATER HAPPINESS AND WELL-BEING. (Christian van Nieuwerburgh, 2018) Certificates: Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Erickson College International, Certificate of Coaching "Professional Coach" Erickson College International, Certificate of Completion "The Art & Science of Coaching" Erickson College International, Certificate of Completion "High Performance Team Coaching" University of Tartu, educational innovation, educational institution management, MSc

I believe in people and lifelong learning. No one else can make us better or wiser people. We can do it ourselves! For this, we sometimes need a partner who would ask the right questions and help us stay on the chosen path or find the right path for ourselves. Throughout my professional career, I have worked mainly in international companies, leading people and related processes. My most recent valuable experience comes from the luxury hospitality business, as HR Director at Swissotel Tallinn (part of AccorHotels hotel chain). My previous experience is from the FMCG sector (Fast-moving consumer goods), where I have worked both as HR Director and Quality Manager. I have been HR Director of Fazer Estonia and Fazer Baltics, HR Director of Fazer Amica Baltics and Russia. I was a member of Fazer Baltics management team. I received my education from Tallinn University of Technology, with a diploma stating economist-engineer. I obtained my master's degree from Uppsala University of Agricultural Sciences. Additionally, I have attended numerous continuing education courses both in Estonia and abroad. I have been involved in mentoring for the past 3 years. I was one of the founders of the gastronomy competition Hõbelusikas/Silverspoon and led the competition for 7 years. In my free time, I love traveling, the sea and sailing. Winters have not passed without skiing in the mountains.

I work as a psychologist and change consultant at Miltton, helping organizations implement ambitious changes with positive impact. My passion is supporting people's success and well-being by applying knowledge from psychology and contemporary neuroscience. First as a psychology researcher and for the past 15 years as a leadership consultant, I have helped teams and self-leaders implement beneficial changes and stay resilient amid challenges. Today my main focuses include stress management, motivational communication, and team dynamics. I also lead Miltton's Impact masterclass and public speaking trainings. I hold a PhD in psychology and am one of the founders of the Estonian Motivational Interviewing Association. I am convinced that wise people management is an indispensable competence, not just a soft value. More courage to care and attend to mental balance is the main prerequisite for implementing positive changes. And I follow this principle myself, finding joy in nourishing relationships, continuing with ballet dancing, piano and saxophone playing, and enjoying the beauty of life.

I studied mechanical engineering at Tallinn University of Technology and earned an MBA from EBS. I have over 12 years of top management experience, leading companies through both growth periods and the biggest crisis of the restoration of independence era. My executive experience is supported and enriched by my period as a lecturer and consultant at EBS. My path to becoming a leader has not been smooth and painless, but perhaps that's exactly why I can see and appreciate even small changes on the road to improvement. I started my first leadership position at age 23, studying like many others my age in full-time university studies at the same time. It quickly became clear that goals can only be achieved when the entire team contributes to them. I realized that management work consists of helping subordinates do their job better. In my later life and mentoring work, I have tried to constantly keep in mind what I "discovered" in my youth. A leader and mentor must help others become better. My longest and most instructive experience by field comes from automotive trade, leading Fakto Group's retail companies from crisis through to new growth. Experience in the retail sector is complemented by the restructuring of wooden house manufacturer Nordic Houses KT. Today I work as a sector manager in EAS key account management where our team supports growth-oriented companies in their rapid development.

I am fascinated by people, their stories, and the reasons and backgrounds behind their decisions and actions. As a leader, mentor, supervisor, and trainer accompanying many people on their personal development journey, I am also learning myself. It is precisely because of this mutual learning and benefit that I love these supportive and guiding roles in my professional life. My journey to becoming a mentor began long ago. Long before I understood what mentoring actually is. Today I work at the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund as a leader of leaders and support both unemployment fund and other organizations' leaders as a mentor. As a Tartu Ülikool alumna, I have also been ready to offer mentoring support to students, primarily in two areas: leadership and social work. I have studied social work and rehabilitation coordination at Tartu Ülikool and social work at Tallinna ülikool. I have completed the Fontes coaching mentorship program and hold an EIA Practitioner certificate (EMCC Global).

I enjoy both people and numbers. As a mentor, I believe that there is more hidden inside every person than they can imagine. I have experienced this repeatedly both in myself and in other people. I think the mentor's role is to be a creator of clarity and an inspirer, because progress starts with the first step and usually happens outside the familiar comfort zone. I have gained diverse professional experience as a project manager at Hollywood club, product manager at wholesale company Tridens, financial analyst at pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline Estonia, finance manager at pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca for Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus markets, and finance director at Circle K (former Statoil) Estonia business unit. To give back to society, I have been teaching financial statement analysis at TTÜ School of Economics for over ten years and conduct financial training in Estonian and English. In recent years, in addition to Fontes mentoring and career coaching courses, I have participated in various personal development trainings in London, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the USA. I believe that emotions are more important than things, and this has led me to visit more than 50 countries around the world. My highest achievement so far is conquering the nearly six-kilometer peak of Kilimanjaro. In addition to the Estonian Chamber of Mentors, I am an honorary member of the Investment Club and the Estonian Junior Chamber.

I am a strategic thinker and systems creator who helps individuals and organizations move from chaos toward clarity, structure, and results. My strength lies in the ability to see the big picture and to connect technology, finance, and management into a cohesive whole that truly works. I have over 25 years of experience in various roles – from technology and media to management, business development, and strategic consulting. Today, I primarily act as a mentor and partner to people who have reached a point where the next step no longer requires more information, but rather clarity, decision, and direction. I am driven by growth – both on the level of individuals and systems. I believe that most limitations do not come from the outside, but from our own mindset, habits, and beliefs. My role is to help make these patterns visible, break them down, and replace them with effective, conscious choices. My approach is a combination of rational strategy and deeper human understanding. I work where logic and inner development meet – where decisions are not only right in Excel, but also aligned with a person’s true potential and direction. As a mentor, I am straightforward, present, and results-oriented. I do not offer sugar-coated answers, but clarity. At the same time, I create a space where a person can think, see, and grow safely. For me, the greatest value is the moment when a “click” happens within a person – when confusion is replaced by understanding and uncertainty turns into conscious forward movement. If you are at a point where you know you are capable of more, but need clarity, structure, and support to take the next step, then this is where we meet.

I have been active in the field of adult training and counseling for 25 years. I got my first experience as a trainer 15 years ago, when I conducted team training together with my colleagues for a team with nearly 80 participants. The client considered it the best team training in history. My work experience includes: leading a team for 4.5 years; role of marketing manager for 6 years, consultant work (stress, self-management & health behavior) for 8 years; managing training and development projects for 25 years and managing a micro-enterprise for 2.5 years. As a trainer and advisor, one of my strengths is the ability to listen, understand and understand the challenges facing an organization, team or person and to put together a unique cooperation plan or training program based on them. "The best part of the day" - that's what I've been told very often after training.
