I am a person with some leadership experience and a strong sense of mission. I care about people's (including my own) reasons for doing things, and when it is within my power, I want to support them in reaching their goals. I do not consider goals that are destructive by nature to be right, and I always try to find and show others the constructive impact of different activities, where someone's victory does not mean others' loss, but rather offers an opportunity for many to win. As a mentor, I have met many extremely interesting people over the years and I am convinced that our meetings have made both me and my mentees better people. Therefore, I am confident that through mentoring relationships one can experience mutually enriching encounters, and hopefully I can offer these to many more people.

I have worked in the field of education since 1996 as a teacher, academic director, development director, and school principal. Today I am the principal of Viimsi Gymnasium – a school that our team created from scratch in 2018. I have graduated from Tallinna Ülikool with a degree in organizational behavior and completed mentor training at Fontes. I have completed the 3-year curriculum "Supervisor and coach, psychodrama practitioner" at Moreno Keskus and have the competence to work as a supervisor and coach. I believe that every challenging moment and endeavor holds a great learning opportunity. I consider it important to empower self-belief and self-confidence through systematic and meaningful action, focusing on weighing possibilities and finding solutions.

By education, I am a business and financial manager, and considering my previous work experience, I have encountered management in both private enterprise and the public sector. In life, I have dealt with both business restructuring and merging different companies. As a leader, mentor, and coach, I consider three precious treasures as driving forces: A sharp ear hears the teaching language and in a faithful heart are hidden human knowledge. I find that as a mentor, I can participate in a process based on cooperation and communication, during which I can share my experiences, knowledge, and why not also necessary contacts. It is important to listen and understand and move together towards finding solutions.

My passion is development – both my own and that of others. I really enjoy listening to various podcasts and reading articles and books, from which I can draw new ideas and thoughts to apply professionally or share with others. I have worked in international companies as both first-line and middle management for more than 15 years, which has enriched my experience portfolio from very different fields. My professional growth has been supported by studies: I hold a master's degree in organizational behavior from Tallinn University and have completed both mentoring and people management development programs. I have been active as a mentor since 2017. I have mainly helped specialists grow into leadership roles, but have also supported leaders and specialists on their professional development journey. My goal as a mentor is to support mentees in discovering their potential and coping with challenges by sharing my experiences and knowledge. Mentoring areas where I share my knowledge and support: My approach to mentoring is holistic, taking into account each mentee's unique needs and goals. More information about my activities and experiences can be found on my website www.katrinjarvemets.ee or LinkedIn profile.

I have studied to become a mathematics and physics teacher and educational scientist. I have worked as a mathematics, physics and music teacher. 18 years as a school principal and 7 years as an educational advisor in local government. I was involved in establishing the small community private school Pärnu Vabakool in Pärnu and led its growth during the first 11 years. I joined the Pärnu city government during a period when I could contribute to separating primary and secondary schools, as well as initiating various integration projects. Schools today face many exciting challenges and supporting people's development is a key factor, as well as finding connections between school and the world outside school. Joining the activities of the Estonian Chamber of Mentors provides many opportunities for development and cooperation. I completed mentor training at Fontes and am currently happy about the achievements of my three mentees – beginning school principals.

Principal of Pärnu-Jaagupi Basic School and Music School since 2015. 18 years as school leader. Former educational advisor for Pärnu Town Government. Tallinn University graduate. Fontes mentor training. Member of Estonian Chamber of Mentors. Currently mentors 3 aspiring school leaders.

I have long-term experience in various B2B fields in both large and small companies. Keywords include project management, team building, change management and international team. I am development-oriented and believe in continuous improvement, a technology and digitalization enthusiast. The world is constantly changing and dynamic, so it is important to constantly learn and develop. And it has to be fun! Mentoring is one opportunity for this, both as a mentee and as a mentor.

I have been working in the educational landscape since 2008. I work as a development manager at Pärnu Joint Gymnasium and teach 10th grade students memory and learning knowledge within the subject course "Memory and Learning". Previously, I was an English teacher and class teacher for 14 years and led the foreign languages subject area at Pärnu Old Town Basic School. In addition to my long-term experience in general education, I have been working since 2019 as a lecturer in teacher training at the Institute of Educational Sciences at Tallinna Ülikool. My main research interests and fields are related to supporting learning and teaching – memory and learning strategies, metacognition, motivation, and beliefs related to the learning process. I also have practical experience in these topics as an educational leader, teacher, lecturer, trainer for teachers and other educational workers and school teams, as well as a parent. Mentoring is for me a combination of mindset and tools that helps me support teachers, learners, and parents in my daily work. We actually have many answers to different situations, doubts, uncertainties, and worries within us, but too often we wait for solutions and answers from someone else and somewhere outside. Mentoring helps a person reach these answers and change the world around them through themselves.

My over 25 years of work experience includes both private and public sectors, working in organizations of different sizes and in various roles and positions. The common denominator of these experiences is people. Without people, no organization implements changes, achieves goals, or leads innovation. There is tremendous potential hidden in people. How to unlock this as a leader while growing yourself? I am convinced that each of us has the mastery to very successfully deal with our own dilemmas and problems and make developmental leaps. Sometimes this requires help from either a coach or mentor who would listen and help us move forward with supportive questions. I have learned and use both methods in daily work with people. I know that sometimes it's difficult alone, and therefore I want to help other leaders who are looking for solutions in self-development, teamwork, their career, motivation and elsewhere. I always learn in this process myself. I have completed the AoEC Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching program at Estonian Business School and obtained the diploma. I am a member of both the ICF (International Coaching Federation) international organization and the Estonian branch. I am a certified Executive Coach. On the journey of becoming a mentor, I have completed the Fontes mentor program and in my current organization, I am the leader in creating a management culture based on mentoring. Additionally, I keep myself updated with what's happening in the management field by being a member of the Estonian Chamber of Mentors and the Estonian Career Counseling Association. I work as an executive coach and mentor both within my organization and outside it.

I have been helped, supported and guided a lot in life. Feeling the need to keep receiving and giving in balance, I rejoice in opportunities to be there for someone's benefit and to give my best in a person-centered way. In the Fontes mentor program, a treasure chest of master tools opened up for me, the careful use of which became such an amazing experience that I would gladly not let its content rust. I have lived my whole life among people and for people, lived along and supported their journeys, growth, longings. Cried with those who cry and rejoiced with those who rejoice. I have worked in kindergarten, school and bank, with leadership experience since 1997.

I work with the development of people and organizations, primarily in 1:1 and small group coaching and mentoring formats. I use personality tests to make visible strengths, patterns and collaboration dynamics. I collaborate with both companies and individuals to create clarity and initiate change that is sustainable and measurable. My work is carried by development, clarity and care. My background is in the HR field. I have created mentoring systems, designed development programs and supported leaders and HR partners in technology, manufacturing, software, robotics, public and education sectors. Additionally, I work as a fitness and yoga trainer, supporting people in creating positive and lasting changes on both physical and mental levels. I value a healthy lifestyle – both taking care of the body and balance between different areas of life, as well as healthy and supportive relationships both at work and in private life. I'm happy to meet people with similar values. If you feel our mindset might be a good fit, get in touch: maarikahaidak@gmail.com https://www.linkedin.com/in/maarika-haidak/

I have extensive management experience as both middle and senior executive in IT, telecommunications and financial sectors. Among other things, I have had the opportunity to grow a company's size several times over and revenue by tens of times as a senior executive. I gained my mentoring experience through comprehensive training in the Fontes Mentors Programme and later as an active member of the Mentors' Chamber. This has developed my ability to listen and understand people in order to support them in solving their challenges. I find joy in being able to help someone on their development path. I believe that people want to develop and I support them in finding their way towards a balanced and happy life.

Ei saa vahel iseendaga hakkama, kuid suudan teisi suurepäraselt segadusse ajada.

In my professional life, I have experienced how much value is created by an environment where trust, openness, and honesty prevail. Where knowledge is shared, people listen to each other and encourage one another, true growth and development emerge. I have primarily worked in the information technology field, leading various departments, teams, and programs, and supporting people both in taking their first professional steps and moving toward ambitious goals. I consider mutual learning and caring for each other essential. I am convinced that especially during difficult moments, there is a particular need for someone with whom you can honestly and safely discuss thoughts and weigh choices. My experience in quality and risk management and developing organizational management systems has confirmed that clarity and balance emerge when there is room for sincere listening, honest reflections, and supportive perspective. My experience as a quality manager has taught me to approach situations systematically and thoughtfully, and to reveal the pros and cons of opportunities in a way that creates a comprehensive and balanced view of the future. It is safe to share thoughts and discover new perspectives with me. I believe that openness and caring create the foundation where courage, confidence, and balance are born, helping to move forward with greater self-assurance and clearer purpose.
