My journey as a leader and mentor has been shaped through various roles, positions, and people. I have been both a person in charge and a learner, both a leader and a team member. These very experiences have taught me that leadership is not about position, but about the ability to create clarity, maintain direction, and notice the person on that path. As a mentor, it is important to me that people feel heard and understood. I believe that everyone has the answers and potential within them – sometimes they just need a safe and conscious partner who helps bring these to light. My role is to support, ask the right questions, reflect, and encourage taking the next truly meaningful steps. I have worked in both private and public sectors, in organizations of different sizes, in various roles and positions. These experiences have given me the ability to remain calm even in tense situations, maintain focus on the big picture, and see opportunities where limitations appear at first glance. I deeply believe that diversity and different perspectives do not slow down development – they enrich it. My mentoring style is human-centered, empathetic, and conscious. I am results-oriented, but not in a hurried way or at the expense of the person. I consider honesty, taking responsibility, and being an example important – both in acknowledging my strengths and areas for development. Humor, clarity, and emotional maturity are a natural part of collaboration for me. I have completed the AoEC Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching program at Estonian Business School and obtained the diploma. On my journey to becoming a mentor, I have completed Fontes' coaching mentoring program and hold an EIA Practitioner certificate (EMCC Global). My LinkedIn: Ave Reimaa-Lepik

I started as a consultant/mentor in 2009. The first steps were fumbling and I was searching for my own approach. While everyone was talking about coaching as a new miracle tool for developing people, I was drawn to social systems and the systems thinking related to them. Today I know that this is the main skill of EQ (emotional intelligence). As a mentor, my field is organization development - a school of thought that brings together the individual, team, and organizational perspective as a whole. A person is strongly influenced by their social environment, but at the same time every person (not just leaders) influences that environment back. Today I am a mentor or trainer to leaders in Estonia, the UK, and the USA, with groups from Asia soon to be added. My philosophy on life and leadership can be summarized by the following statements: I continuously develop myself, mainly in the USA over the past 5 years. And I constantly have 2 mentors with whom to exchange thoughts and who support me on my journey. To give back to society, I have been conducting a lecture series "Organization Development Management" for MBA level students at Mainor business school since 2016. And I am proud every year when reading graduation theses to see that using the same logics and techniques, 20% of participants change something better in their family, 60% of participants change something in their team, and 20% of development projects affect the entire company. In leadership and directing organizational functioning, there is nothing elitist for me anymore, it's not "something that leaders do," but truly important principles are universal, working equally well both at work and at home. With 25 years of experience in general education, local government, and IT, I have grown into a school leader. Grown rather than studied or aspired to it. My rebellious world-changing spirit is balanced by experience, sense of responsibility, and wisdom. Instead of opinions, I prefer calculations; alongside emotions, knowledge fits. A non-partisan practitioner, ideologically a conservative social democrat, and unspoiled by urbanization.

Over the past two decades, I have worked primarily in the field of classical music, studying and gaining experience by working with top professionals in the field both in Estonia and abroad. I came to mentoring through the Fontes Mentors Program and hold European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) accreditation at the Practitioner level. I believe in the ability to develop throughout life, to look at our daily surroundings with interest or surprise, to seek and set goals for themes that give meaning to our existence here. This mindset has also helped me in leadership roles. As a mentor, deeply engaging with another person and inspiring them to strive towards their desires allows me to experience a different world and view my own from new angles. We are all different. Satisfaction and good relationship with oneself, as well as cooperation with others, creates more clarity and brightness for tomorrow.

I have over 25 years of leadership career, during which I have been involved in launching, organizing and developing multiple trade fair and conference projects. From this colorful journey, I have gained the knowledge that the main driving force of every good company is people who must be nurtured, developed and trusted. On my personal development journey, I have completed NLP professional training and briefly worked as a trainer. Now I have discovered the world of coaching, where working and growing mentally has become a harmonious part of my lifestyle and is in alignment with my true self. I hold ICF (International Coaching Federation) ACC accreditation, which can be considered the golden seal of my skills according to ICF standards. As a mentor, I want to be an inspiring thought partner for my client, an attentive listener who reflects back to the client what I hear and see. By the way, this process sometimes has wonderful power within it. I want to support my client in clearly thinking through their new ideas and goals in a trusting environment that leads to awareness of WHY and HOW to move forward toward the best possible solution. I want to encourage my client to step out of their comfort zone, to be honest in their thoughts and feelings, to find harmony between heart and mind. All of this so that they make fewer mistakes in the future, be more confident and conscious in their choices.

Mentoring is a powerful collaboration that creates positive developmental breakthroughs! I believe that with the wider spread of mentoring in different sectors, we contribute to a wiser and more successful Estonia! Long-term management experience (Swedbank, Luminor) and mentor training (Fontes Mentor Program) have developed my ability to understand people in their challenges. I take into account that people are different and with this in mind, I find together with the mentee the best possible help for them.

Olen tänulik töökogemuste teekonna eest, mille olen seni saanud läbida. Teekonda ei ole ma läbinud üksi. Alati koos inimestega. Lisaks olen täiendanud ennast EBS-i Coaching Skills Certificate programmi, Care metoodika rakendaja ja mitmeid teisi põnevaid koolitusi läbides. Mentorlus on mulle huvi pakkunud kogu minu tööalase karjääri.

I believe that true wisdom is hidden within all of us, sometimes we just need good questions and curiosity to bring it to light. I have worked as a coach, mentor and supervisor for people in education, medicine, finance and telecommunications sectors, and have also been a mentor for various organizations within different programs (e.g. School Supporting Beginning Teachers). My superpower is helping to create clarity – in systems, roles and within oneself. My work as a supervisor and coach is supported by long-term experience as an HR director, executive team member and leadership advisor, and I have been able to share my experience on the PARE board. For quite a few years I have worked as a trainer, recruiter, conducted and moderated workshops. Having hiking guide training, I have taken my clients into nature. By conducting meetings in nature, I have realized how important the environment where meetings take place is. My driving force is curiosity about life, people and the world! My training includes: HR Management professional certificate, level 7. ICF certificate in coaching Supervisor, coach and psychodrama practitioner training at Moreno Center, 2022-2024 Tripod personality and mental abilities test administration license Member of the Chamber of Mentors PARE member Taltech, MBA Luua Forestry School, hiking guide specialization

I am grateful for the journey of work experiences I have been able to go through so far. I have not traveled this path alone. Always together with people. I have had the opportunity to work for over twenty years in a shipping company both at sea and on land, both at home and abroad. Together we have overcome diverse work-related challenges, where together with my people we have been able to overcome many mountains and wiped tears of joy together. Humor and laughter have always helped even in more difficult situations. In recent years I have been working in the public sector, currently in the social field. Leading people and people-related processes have consistently been my main work activities. I completed my educational path at EBS (entrepreneurship and business management) and master's studies at Tallinn University of Technology, Ragnar Nurkse School of Innovation and Governance (public sector management and innovation), obtaining a master's degree in social sciences. Additionally, I have enhanced myself by completing the EBS Coaching Skills Certificate program, Care methodology practitioner and many other exciting trainings. Mentoring has interested me throughout my professional career. I enjoy moments where a person finds solutions or new opportunities with the help of correctly asked questions. My recent favorite book is "Ichigo ichie" (authors Héctor García and Francesc Miralles) – Every moment is unique, don't delay happiness. The best time of your life is the present moment.
