I have studied to become a mathematics and physics teacher and educational scientist. I have worked as a mathematics, physics and music teacher. 18 years as a school principal and 7 years as an educational advisor in local government. I was involved in establishing the small community private school Pärnu Vabakool in Pärnu and led its growth during the first 11 years. I joined the Pärnu city government during a period when I could contribute to separating primary and secondary schools, as well as initiating various integration projects. Schools today face many exciting challenges and supporting people's development is a key factor, as well as finding connections between school and the world outside school. Joining the activities of the Estonian Chamber of Mentors provides many opportunities for development and cooperation. I completed mentor training at Fontes and am currently happy about the achievements of my three mentees – beginning school principals.
