Über mich

I started as a consultant/mentor in 2009. The first steps were fumbling and I was searching for my own approach. While everyone was talking about coaching as a new miracle tool for developing people, I was drawn to social systems and the systems thinking related to them. Today I know that this is the main skill of EQ (emotional intelligence). As a mentor, my field is organization development - a school of thought that brings together the individual, team, and organizational perspective as a whole. A person is strongly influenced by their social environment, but at the same time every person (not just leaders) influences that environment back. Today I am a mentor or trainer to leaders in Estonia, the UK, and the USA, with groups from Asia soon to be added. My philosophy on life and leadership can be summarized by the following statements: I continuously develop myself, mainly in the USA over the past 5 years. And I constantly have 2 mentors with whom to exchange thoughts and who support me on my journey. To give back to society, I have been conducting a lecture series "Organization Development Management" for MBA level students at Mainor business school since 2016. And I am proud every year when reading graduation theses to see that using the same logics and techniques, 20% of participants change something better in their family, 60% of participants change something in their team, and 20% of development projects affect the entire company. In leadership and directing organizational functioning, there is nothing elitist for me anymore, it's not "something that leaders do," but truly important principles are universal, working equally well both at work and at home.
