I have been a senior executive for over 25 years and have conducted over 3,500 hours of coaching sessions with leaders and teams. I have experienced that sometimes one successful question can lead to a surprising discovery. Often, however, solutions need to be sought more deeply. People learn through stories and others' experiences. Therefore, coaching sessions with me also include sharing experiences and elements of mentoring. It's good for a leader to know the three basic human needs: sense of belonging, desire to be understood, and feeling that they are doing meaningful work. I help leaders understand these needs and find ways to get their teams to work together more effectively. I acknowledge that team coaching is more complex, but at the same time the most enjoyable part of my work.
