About

In working with people, I consider building trusting relationships and creating safe spaces to be most important. I believe this enables the emergence of new ideas and the discovery of new possibilities, resulting in lasting changes in work and life. I graduated from the University of Tartu Faculty of Theology in 1998 and received a Master of Theology degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2000. I completed a two-year clinical pastoral care residency at Emory University Hospital with specialization in mental health. After my studies, I have taught pastoral care at the EELK Institute of Theology and crisis psychology at the University of Tartu. I have worked as a counselor in mental health recovery institutions to this day. I completed supervisor-coach training at the International Supervision and Coaching Institute in 2020. I know the medical and healthcare field best, as I have worked for over twenty years as a chaplain and counselor in hospitals and healthcare institutions, and have trained and supervised workers in this field. In addition to my calling to work with people, I have a passion for all things beautiful. I believe that beauty will save the world – this is the basis of my interest in visual arts and architecture, music, and above all, gardening. I completed supervisor-coach training at ISCI in 2020 and achieved Level 7 qualification.
