My journey to master my body and mind in an integrative way began in 2013 during my studies as a music student at the Viljandi Academy of Culture. My aspirations were abruptly halted by an overuse injury, and carpal and cubital syndromes in my right wrist. Despite various treatments, my dream of creating music seemed elusive. Then, in 2016 came the turning point – a recommendation from a lecturer led me to the Alexander Technique. Ten lessons later, I not only regained my ability to start practicing again but also discovered a transformative tool for life. Although I started my Alexander technique teacher training because of an overuse injury, the technique has offered me so much more healing. It liberated me from chronic lower back pain stemming from a childhood horseback riding accident and has continuously helped me to run and work out despite my various knee injuries. Beyond physical healing, the technique became my compass in navigating anxiety, depression, and burnout. Today, it's my daily ally for stress relief, muscle tension release, emotional regulation, pain management, enhanced voice and breathing, effective public speaking, and even improved gym performance. My journey with the Alexander Technique is more than a career path; it's a calling. Having experienced its profound impact on my own life, I am dedicated to sharing this transformative skill with others. My unique approach stems from a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face in various aspects of life – from pain, tension and discomfort to mental health struggles. What sets my training apart is not just expertise but empathy and presence. I blend technical precision with a genuine understanding of the human experience. Whether overcoming physical limitations, navigating mental health hurdles, or enhancing performance in diverse fields, the Alexander Technique is not just a relaxation method – it's a key to unlocking one's fullest potential.
