I have been a supervisor since 2003. I completed supervision training offered by Supervisionsinstituut Der Rote Faden (Germany) that meets ANSE standards. Today I hold a Level 8 supervisor certificate. In my work as a supervisor over these years, I have encountered many different fields and topics. For example, I have worked most extensively with work fatigue and burnout issues, difficulties in client work or collegial relationships. By primary profession, I am a psychologist with a Master of Science degree (MSc). In addition to my supervisor qualification, I am a certified family therapist, a Level 7 certified family mediator, as well as a certified international (cross-border) family mediator and trainer of family mediators. To maintain my professional level and offer the best help to clients, I have additionally educated myself in various psychotherapy-related trainings of different orientations and levels (e.g., trauma therapy, art therapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy). My daily primary work is indeed related to psychology. As a supervisor, I am primarily a fellow traveler who helps find the right direction, analyze difficulties, find resources, empower, and support. To help a person, I primarily want to understand them. To understand, I ask questions, use metaphors to create clarity, creative exercises, constellations. Creating clarity helps in finding new directions. I work with both individual clients as well as groups and smaller teams.
