I am a career counselor and coach who has personally gone through the journey of a career change. Sometimes we receive subtle signs or realizations that our current path no longer feels quite right. It may be dissatisfaction, a sense that there is more within us than our current role allows us to express, or a desire to do something different that truly resonates with our heart. In these moments, it is invaluable to have someone by your side who knows how to listen and help you find clarity. My work is to be that person for you. My first career lasted over 20 years in the field of marketing and communications. I worked in both local and international companies and projects. I would not trade that time for anything, as it taught me a great deal about people, international communication, and seeing the bigger picture. However, at one point I felt the desire to do work that was even more connected to people. That is how I took the very step I now help others to take—I made a conscious career change. It was not easy, but it was the right thing to do. Today, I have worked for over 7 years as a recruitment partner and interim HR manager. I help companies find suitable people for their teams and to build and develop their HR function. Alongside my daily work, career counseling and coaching have naturally become a part of my life. My wish is to support others in making conscious career changes, so that everyone can find their way to their own ikigai—to work that truly resonates with them.
