I have been working with people and groups for the last 13 years. During this time I have experienced and challenged myself in different settings and situations. My background is in social work and psychology, but already during my university years, I understood, that my passion is way wider. I have been a trainer since 2013. My goal has always been to find ways how to make learning as interactive and effective as possible. I always, in any situation, use non-formal and experiential learning principles. I have been lucky to work with different target groups and topics throughout the years. I have been inhouse trainer for Hilton where I developed and conducted leadership and customer service related trainings, but I also have been lucky to work with the public sector and develop and conduct trainings for kindergartens, local municipalities, and decision-makers. This all has given me a wide range of participants whom each has taught me something. I have learned how to include, encourage and motivate people to learn. I have developed my own trainer's skills to make sure that my participants will leave with a new idea, thought or inspiration to act at the end of every training. I have learned to pay attention to not only what happens during the training, but also things we do before and after that. Since Covid, my new challenge has been online learning - how to make it fun, interactive and break the mindset that online learning is just sitting behind your computer for 8h, doing everything else while somebody is giving a lecture. So, far the last 3 years, I have been developing combined and self-paced e-learnings for Tervise Arengu Instituut, Sotsiaalkindlustusamet ja Peaasi. Since 2015 I have been writing and conducting international youth work projects under Erasmus+. Leading a diverse group of people, and creating a supportive, but at the same time challenging learning environment is something that makes my heart beat faster. The main tools I use in everything I do is creativity, brave questions and honesty. I believe that people can and want to learn no matter their age or previous experience. My main goal in this world is to create a safe, but at the same time challenging learning environment, where we want to discover our own abilities, motivation and thrive for a better future.
